Midday Connection

A safe place to process your story.

Midday Connection is a live 54-minute radio program (heard live at noon, Central Time, Monday through Friday) designed to encourage women, with a focus on growing the whole person: body, mind and soul.

The Midday team is: Anita Lustrea (co-host and executive producer), Melinda Schmidt (co-host), Lori Neff (producer, event coordinator, social media coordinator), and Mark Breta (engineer).

Our Mission:

We build relationships and mentor women through intentional programming, web presence, social media interaction and book publishing, creating a safe place for authentically processing life’s journey as we come to know who God is and who He created us to be, while growing toward spiritual freedom and personal transformation.

The promotional message for MidDay connection – the one about having a group of caring women to open the Scriptures with — brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. I long for that in my life! I wish I was able to be a regular part of the MidDay group!

  4. How does one go about submitting a guest blog?

    • Hello Judith!
We welcome anyone to write a 350 word blog and email it to us at midday@moody.edu for consideration. When you send the blog, be sure to include a short bio and picture. Your blog can be on any topic – from light to serious. We post guest and listener entries on Thursdays. On Mondays, we feature posts by the Midday team.
